The SEStran two Capitals cycle ride is a non-competitive, all-age, all-abilities event that aims to promote cycling for all. Now in its fourth year, the ride is rapidly becoming one of the biggest events of its kind in South East Scotland.
This year we are joining forces with Kingdom FM Kids and Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres, which are this year’s nominated charities. Kingdom FMs star Breakfast and Overdrive presenters Ian Gilmour and Darren Stenhouse (shown above with Tumong Edwards, community fund raiser for Maggie's Fife) will also be taking part in the ride.
So don’t delay, sign up today! You don’t need to look good in lycra or own an expensive bike; all you need is the determination to take up a challenge and join the growing number of people who are cycling for exercise and as an ideal form of transportation for shorter journeys.
All participants get a t-shirt and goody bag. All profits from the ride go to the nominated charities and towards promoting cycling in schools.
